Bank Scam hits the Wagle’s in Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya

Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey has touched the audiences’ hearts with its relatable and heartwarming storylines. The upcoming episodes will see the Wagle’s reliving their fond memories, but with a twist and trouble brewing in the background!  As soon as the new year begins, rumours of the bank scam rolls in again, which makes Rajesh (Sumeet Raghavan) extremely anxious. However, after Mr Saathe assures him that these rumours are false, Rajesh feels better.
The other society residents get to know about the new interest rates at the BRS Bank and move their money to this bank. Harry Khatri (Vikas Grover), a cunning businessman and owner of the rival courier company, sends gifts along with a new clients list for Rajesh in the office. Rajesh gives presentations to those clients and deposits more amounts in BRS bank. But then the trustees flee the country right before the news about the scam breaks out. The residents, along with Rajesh, are panicking as there is no way to get their money back. Harry Shastri takes advantage of the situation and tries to convince Kiara that the only option of saving everybody’s money and the bank is by merging the two banks.
What will happen next? Will Harry get through his conniving ways? Will the two banks merge?
Vikas Grover, essaying the role of Harry Khatri, said, “Wagle Ki Duniya is a legacy, and I am delighted that I get to be a part of this show as Harry. This character is a very peculiar one, he has the tricks to get his way through things. He is conniving and convincing. His entry will definitely stir some trouble in Rajesh’s life and will change the direction of the show. Harry knows the situation of the BRS bank very well and he is ready to take full advantage of this bank scam. He offers a merger deal that sounds just too good. The audience will now have to wait and watch to see what Harry is really up to.”
Sumeet Raghavan, essaying the role of Rajesh Wagle, said, “Rajesh was happy in that little moment where he shared his love story with the kids. But when trouble creeps in, he is flustered and anxious. Along with the other residents, he is now stuck in this scam. I think Wagle Ki Duniya has constantly been touching upon topics that are relatable to the masses, and with the bank scam, we are taking another step towards showcasing the challenges a common man like Rajesh would go through and what kind of impact would a financial loss like a scam leave behind.”
