Guwahati: City based physicians from Barthakur Clinic private limited namely Dr Manabendra Goswami (Surgery) and Dr Arunima Goswami (Medicine) conducted the last Saturday evening OPD at Guwahati Press Club in northeast India for the benefit of scribes along with their dependents.
Over 30 participants received healthcare related consultations from the senior doctors, where Kapila Lama and Jyotish Sarma supported them in conduct the clinic. The participants also got their blood pressure & sugar checked in the camp.
The 17 December 2016 evening clinic was attended by Dr Jayanta Sarmah, Dr Neelakshi Devchoudhury, Dr Chiranjib Mahanta, Dr Ruman Hussain, Dr Purnima Deuri and Dr Susmita Pegu from the Jaukbari Government Ayurvedic College. They examined the health status of 50 participants with random blood pressure, sugar and BMI tests. They were also offered health related consultations by the attending physicians.
Till date, practicing physicians from Dispur Hospitals, Down Town Hospitals, GNRC Group of Hospitals, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, Swagat Super-Surgical Institute, Wintrobe Hospital, Nemcare Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First eye-clinic, Apollo Hospitals Chennai etc had conducted the weekly camps.
Similarly, Medanta-The Medicity Hospital Gurgaon, Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya Guwahati, Gauhati Medical College, Apollo Hospitals Hyderabad, Rahman Hospital etc have shown interest in conducting the camps in the coming days. Next evening OPD will be conducted on 7 January, as the 31 December camp has been canceled due to New Year celebrations.
