Basant Panchami-The revered occasion
The celebration commenced with the Saraswati Vandana
Jalandhar: Ivy World School under the agies of the Vasal Education Society celebrated Basant Panchami, the auspicious festival of the Hindus which marks the end of the winter season and the onset of spring season in North India.
The celebration commenced with the Saraswati Vandana, to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and a prosperous life. Ivyians were bubbling with religious fervour and enthusiasm on this occasion. The ambience was filled with jubilation. Students showcased their talent by performing various art and craft activities like flower making, pot decoration and flower hanging.
Principal Mrs S. Chauhan motivated the students to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicated efforts as a promising & flourishing human harvest.
The President of Vasal education Society, Shri K K Vasal, the chairman Mr.Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, the Director Mrs. Ena Vasal and the CEO Mr.Raghav Vasal applauded the efforts put forth by the school to create such platforms to explore a child’s imagination and build confidence.
