The photograph taken during an Inter-College Basketball Tournament that commenced at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana on Thursday.
Ludhiana, November 27, 2014: An Inter-College Basketball Tournament commenced at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana under the aegis of Directorate of Students’ Welfare. Dr Ravinder Kaur Dhaliwal, Director Students’ Welfare, PAU inaugurated the tournament and motivated the students to participate with the true spirit of sportsmanship.
The College of Agriculture, and the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology emerged victorious by defeating the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, and the Institute of Agriculture, Gurdaspur in the first and second matches, respectively.
Earlier, Dr T.S. Riar, President, PAU Basketball Club welcomed the guests and boosted the confidence of the participating students. Later, Dr Ramandeep Singh, Deputy Director (Sports) proposed the vote of thanks.
