‘Battle of the Bands’ concert held 

Jalandhar, April 24, 2024: The ‘Battle of the Bands’ concert was held on Wednesday at Ivy World School, Jalandhar. To prove the mettle and  make the audience go crazy, students from Vasal Education Schools came together to showcase musical talent. Junior and Senior category, each with their own unique voice, took to the stage to perform melodiously, created an electric atmosphere in the Auditorium. In addition to the musical showdown, the students took charge of organising and running the event, infusing it with a sense of student-driven initiative. The  students showed teamwork, organisation and talent as they worked  together to put on the show. The thunderous applause from the audience throughout the event was evidence of their success. 

The event was graced by well-known personalities, Ehsaan Noorani, team of Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Sunil Sundram-Founder CEO Torrins , Savio John-Director Learning  and  Innovation, Prasidh Sinha-Senior Program  Delivery Manager and training Dept. Head and Adrian Fernandez –Program Delivery Manager  North Region. They applauded the budding musicians and mentioned that the young stars hold the event quite dearly, as a chance to showcase their skills and perform for the audience.

The  judges evaluated the performances for first, second and third places where Junior wining teams are set in the following category.

First Cambridge International School Dasuya ,Second  Ivy World School Jalandhar and third Gems Cambridge International School  Hoshiarpur. Senior Winning Teams securing the first position are from Gems Cambridge International School  Hoshiarpur & Cambridge International School Dasuya  and the second position grabbed by  Ivy World School Jalandhar.

The audience actively participated by selecting their favourite band for the coveted Audience Choice Award.

The President, Vasal Education Society, K K Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Ena Vasal, The CEO  Raghav Vasal and The Director, Aditi Vasal said that ‘The Battle of the Bands’  was truly an incredible experience, both for the spectators and the musicians. The mellifluous songs pulled the heartstrings of the audience. The aim was to provide budding stars with a platform to showcase their talent. The budding singers put up the amazing show with their melodious voice and mesmerized the audience present in the hall.

The Principal and faculty congratulated and appreciated the efforts put in by the participated teams. They likewise acknowledged the support, spirit of teamwork and active participation of the teams. 

The Principal did the honours by presenting the trophies to the winning teams.
