BBMB receives ‘Rajbhasha Kirti’ Award

New Delhi, September 15, 2018: Bhakra Beas Management Board received Second Prize under Boards/Autonomous bodies category of Rajbhasha Kirti Awards for excellent implementation of the Official Language Policy during the year 2017-18 in Region "B". Shri D.K.Sharma, Chairman, BBMB received this prestigious award from the Chief Guest, Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India, in a prize distribution ceremony organized at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 14th September, 2018. Shri Rajnath Singh, Home Minister, Government of India presided over the programme. Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India and Shri Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India were also present on this occasion. Shri D.K. Sharma, Chairman, BBMB, congratulated the Officers and Employees of BBMB for this prestigious achievement. He also exhorted the Officers and Employees of BBMB to maximize the use of Hindi Language in day-to-day official work.
