Dharamsala, October 27, 2013: The Ranji match between HP and Goa teams slated for Sunday at HPCA Stadium at Dharamsala will resume from 3pm on Sunday said Himachal ministers GS Bali and Sudhir Sharma in a joint press conference in Dharamsala on Sunday.
They said, “BCCI president Sirinivasan have a telephonic talk with us, and after listening briefing of the situation, have assured co-operation for the conduct of board matches fixed for Dharamsala.  The 4 days match between Goa and HP shall start form 3pm today.”
The ministers said that the game of cricket will not harm with the present disturbances.
They also said, “This ground is now open for genuine cricket, and all the scheduled matches including IPL shall continue as per time table.”
They said that the Cabinet decision to take over leased properties of HPCA in four places of Himachal was taken on emphasis of revenue department against the misuse of the land deal.
Sudhir said, “When HPCA have itself confessed that it is now changed status from society to company, than we were forced to go for it to stop misuse of the government land.” www.cityairnews.com
