BCM Arya Model School bagged overall Trophy of Turf- 2021 at PCTE

Ludhiana, November 24, 2021: PCTE Group of Institutes organised its Annual Inter-School Literary & Cultural Festival “TURF 2021” where 21 schools got the opportunity to participate in different events and win cash prizes worth 1,50,000.
The students showcased their talent in various events like The Well (Presidential Debate), JAM (Just a Minute), Dumb Charades, Sur Mantra (Solo Song Competition), Mr. & Ms. Turf, Oven Love (Bakery competition), Quiz, Group Discussion and Picto and saw participation from school like BCM Arya Model School, DAV Public School BRS Nagar, Ryan International School, Guru Nanak Public School, Bal Bharti Public School, KVM School, BCM- Basant City, Shifali International school, Jesus sacred heart Convent School etc.
The overall trophy of Turf 2021 was bagged by BCM Arya Model School. In Mr. & Ms. Turf, Mr. Turf title was won by KVM School & Ms. Turf title was won by Jesus Sacred Heart Convent School. In Debate the First Position was bagged by Ryan International School, Second Position was bagged by KVM School and Third Position was bagged by BCM Arya Model School.
In Sur Mantra the first position was bagged by BVM Sen. Sec. School, Udham Singh Nagar, Second Position was bagged by DAV Public School, BRS Nagar and the third position was bagged by Guru Nanak Model Sen. Sec. School.
Dr. KNS Kang, Director General PCTE appreciated and congratulated the efforts of the students and the faculty for organizing the events smoothly. He further added that Turf helps the school students to increase their confidence and learn the art of being self-reliant and develop a kind of competitive spirit of winning which in turn helps them in facing the biggest challenges in their professional and personal life.
