Ludhiana, October 3, 2015: On day third at CBSE Cluster XVI Basket Ball Tournament 2015 being held at B.C.M.Senior Secondary School, Sector 32 A, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana quarter final matches were played and results emerged out as per following details:
DAV Police Public School, Jalandhar beat Dashmesh Public School, Farid kot by 62-52; DAV Police Public School, Amritsar beat Saint Soldier Divine Public School, Jalandhar by 44-27; Springdale School Amritsar beat Army Public School Jalandhar by 45-21; D.A.V School Pakhowal Ludhiana beat Army Public School, Phatankot by 29-20; and reached semifinals to be played on 04 October 2015. The results for quarter finals (Girls) were as follows: B.C.M. Sr.Sec. School, Chd. Road, Ludhiana beat CT Public School Jalandhar by 27-23; BABA Farid Public School, Faridkot beat Army Public School Jalandhar by 29-21
During the matches the atmosphere kept echoing with joyous shrieks and yells by the spectators encouraging the players. In spite of steaming and scorching sun the players demonstrated unbeatable energy and fought tooth and nail for victory.
