Ludhiana, July 19, 2016: Education is not confined to mere class rooms any more. Students of this age are privileged to receive every conceivable facility as a part and means of education. BCM Senior Secondary School, Sector 32-A that never fails to stay ahead in arranging the best learning opportunities for its students, sent four of its students for a fortnightly Summer School Programme from 5 July to 19 July organised by Thames Valley Summer School at Epsom College, UK. Ajay Behal of X-I, Aryan Chadha of VIII-K, Rashmi Saini of X-A and Jaskaran Singh of VI-J took part in this programme as exclusive invitee and had a chance to get acquainted with students from many other countries like Germany, Spain, France, Italy. Apart from receiving this global exposure they participated in several educational activities and tests where they showcased their brain & brawn. Accompanied by the teacher escort Mrs. Savita Chadhha, the students had guided tours to museums, Cambridge University, Brighton & Central London.
On returning back the students shared their learning experience with their teachers and school mates.
Their radiant faces & beaming voices were self evident of how much they had enjoyed varied activities like swimming, football, art & craft, talent hunt, crazy games, disco-nights, Olympics etc. during their tour. Rashmi Saini of X-A expressed her gratitude towards the school for selecting her for this tour. She also thanked her parents for supporting and sponsoring the tour for her. She said it was a wonderful experience, memories of which shall always be printed on students’ hearts & minds. The school Principal Sh. D.P.Guleria stated that once considered extravagance such tours are now an integral part of education and the school will keep venturing for providing such offers to its students in coming years too.
