BDA gives farewell to Er Balwinder Singh

Bathinda: After giving services to Bathinda development authority, Er. Balwinder Singh got retired from the department on Friday. Er. Singh started his career as a junior engineer in the department of the tubewell corporation on the 13th of February of 1984. Later on, he joined the housing and urban development of the Punjab government on the 25th of February 1988 and got promoted up to the executive engineer (regulatory) in the same. Meanwhile, in the service of 33 years in Punjab urban development authority, he was promoted to the rank of SDO building on 1st of July 2010, while in 2013, he started his services as an executive engineer. He also honored to work as an estate officer for a day. Er. Balwinder Singh was associated with Bathinda district for more than 24 years and had also the pleasure to give services in the media capital of Jalandhar from 2002 to 2005. Hailing from a backward rural area of the state Fazilka’s village Dabwala Kalan, Er. Singh was a brilliant student right from his primary education which further continued till his civil engineering diploma studies. Not only this, but he has also shown the path of education and enlightenment which resulted in one of his sons got selected as an Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Dr. Balpreet Singh who is currently holding the office of an assistant collector ( trainee IAS) at Wayanad, Kerala.
The department has given him a warm farewell on Friday under the able guidance of Executive Engineer Sandeep Kumar, while other officials including DTP Baljinder Singh, SO Sukhpal Singh, SO Ajit Pal, and SDO Ramesh Kumar were also present there. The officials also honored him with a token of honor. Sunit Kumar JE, Manoj Kumar JE, Neeraj Kumar JE, Sandeep Kumar JE were also among the presents.
