Best Chef Of the Year Chosen at GGNIMT

Ludhiana, April 7, 2016: The Hotel Management department of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology, Civil lines organized Interclass chef competition in the process of hunting Best Chef of the year. There were around seven teams comprising of four members each. Both vegetarian & non- vegetarian mouth watering dishes were presented like chicken lollipops, paneer shashlik with mint sauce and butter lemon dipped fish and many more. All teams were given same set of budget to conclude their recipes. All teams performed excellently both in cooking, innovation and presentation of dishes. Students were judged on the basis of parameters like taste, presentation, innovation and grooming. Prof. Sanmeet Pal & Harleen Kaur were judges of the competition. Team B was judged the ‘Best Chef of the year’ winning trophies. Members of the team were Harsimranjot, Jaswant, Neeraj and Tanveer Deol.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra Director of the college guided the students with the skill set needed to grab the job in this dynamic environment and highly appreciated the efforts made by the students.
