BFST bids adieu to seniors at DAV College

Jalandhar, February 24, 2015: The students of department of BFST 1, 2 and 3 of DAV College, Jalandhar gathered in the college auditorium on Tuesday to bid farewell "Mehfil-e-Jashan" to the outgoing class BFST 4 batch. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments.

Chief Guest of the day was the principal Dr B B.Sharma who was formally welcomed by head of the department Dr Bhartendu Singla, Prof Anu Gupta and Prof Pankaj Gupta.

The juniors left no stone unturned to make farewell party a huge success. It was a treat for the eyes to watch the seniors  turn up in such magnificent attires. An incredible dance item presented by students and the games played were well applauded. The students also gave a scintillating dance performance and the pulsating music rocked the ambience. The auditorium was set ablaze with vibrant bhangra that juniors had planned an array of performances to make sure that their seniors enjoyed every bit of the experience. The Students were presented with mementoes.

The occasion was graced by the presence Principal, Dr B.B.Sharma who showered his blessings on the students. His ever inspiring words brought a sparkle to the eyes of each student present in the auditorium. Principal Sharma told students that there is lot of avenues in food industry and future in this field is also very bright. The need is for commitment, hard work, dedication and full confidence. Dr Sharma encouraged the students to achieve the highest goals of life through quality.

It was indeed a remarkable party with students found swaying to the foot tapping numbers played. They say it’s never the right time to say goodbye, but with many promises to excel and to keep in touch.

Head of the department Dr Bhartendu Singla gave his best wishes to BFST lV students for the upcoming university examination and all their future endeavors. He also presented them mementoes as a token of remembrance.

Prof Pankaj Gupta also showered his blessing to students.

Vote of thanks was passed by Prof Anu Gupta.

In this farewell party Vice Principal of the college Dr P.K.Kapoor, Vice principal Dr P.K.Sharma, PRO of the college Prof Manish Khanna, Prof Ajay Aggarwal Prof Jadwinder, Prof Raj Rani, Prof Jyotsna, Prof Preetika, Dr Suresh Khurana, Prof Geeta, Prof Sandeepa and Prof Komal were also present.

The class of 2015 finally took their stride towards the outside world.
