In a statement here, he added in Financial Year 2013-14 the tax payers were 3.8 crore, in 2022-23 7.51 crore & in 2023-24 these are 8.18 crore.
Juneja who is vice President of Chamber of Industrial & Commercial undertakings (CICU) further said, by taking suitable measures number of tax-payers can still be doubled easily which is essential for progress and development of India since tax rates are most reasonable at present and most of the cases are decided in summary manner.
He opined that big agriculturists should also taxed at low rates of taxes since this are also getting the rewards of development.
