The much awaited Gramin Volleyball League will be conducted across Bihar. The league will kickstart on June 23rd from Siwan.
The organizers have identified 8 volleyball centres in Bihar. The nearby teams from Villages, Colleges, Clubs are being invited to participate in these centres as per the following schedule:

The pra-mandal teams shall be formed by the divisional volleyball committee, formed specifically to select the best players available in the divisional location, and the Grand Finale of the league will be held in Patna on 8, 9th & 10th July.
The league is sponsored by reputed brands. Smart Chip, MoneyGram, Mobikwik, Hero Motocorp are the key sponsors of the event while Nise Gel, Tetmosol, Nivia, Green TV are event partners of the event.
Commenting on Gramin Volleyball League, CSC’s Chief Strategy Officer, Rishi Raj Singh said, "CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd. believes that it can add value to the overall sports ecosystem in the country using this common services platform to identify and nurture talent from the grassroot level. CSC’s presence in India through 2.58 lakh Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE) will make the mobilization of the audience smooth and at the same time VLE will also spread the awareness of Sports.”
As per Deepak Rathi, Managing Director Republic of Sports- “The league will be a one-of-its-kind event in Bihar where leading brands will get the opportunity to interact with the Rural audience of Bihar. Apart from brand building activity these brands will also provide details of the services and products being offered by them.
“Volleyball Association of Bihar is committed to the league and will provide all the assistance and cooperation to CSC to conduct a very successful Gramin Volleyball League in Bihar,” said its secretary Pramod Singh at the press conference.
Republic of Sports has earlier held Gramin Volleyball League in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Chandigarh. The upcoming Bihar edition is the first edition in partnership with CSC e-Governance.
