Bike Rally: Infantry Day 2022
To commemorate 75 years of the historic Srinagar landings during the 1947-48 war, a Bike Rally was organised by Indian Army which started from four different corners of the country rekindling the spirit of fortitude, courage and adventure synonymous with the Indian Army.

Jalandhar, October 23, 2022: To commemorate 75 years of the historic Srinagar landings during the 1947-48 war, a Bike Rally was organised by Indian Army which started from four different corners of the country rekindling the spirit of fortitude, courage and adventure synonymous with the Indian Army. As a tribute to the infantry, the bike rally will cover the length & breadth of the country before culminating at National War Memorial on 27 Oct 2022. A bike team of 10 serving personnel was flagged off by Army Cdr, Northern Command from Udhampur on 22 Oct 2022 and was flagged in at Jalandhar Cantonment where the bikers interacted with the students, Veer Naris & Veterans. The team was flagged off on 23 Oct 2022 by Major General Vikas Saini, Chief of Staff, Vajra Corps for move to Chandimandiren route to National War Memorial at New Delhi. The aim of the bike rally is to inspire today’s youth and pay homage to our brave hearts. It intends to spread the message of patriotism highlighting grit and determination displayed by our brave Infantry soldiers in service of the nation.
