India’s biggest singing reality show, Indian Idol, is back for a highly anticipated Season 15 on Sony Entertainment Television! With auditions kicking off, the spotlight is on the contestants who must showcase their talent to achieve once-in-a-lifetime opportunities on and beyond this coveted stage. On the hunt for extraordinary voices and compelling stories, this season’s judges' panel features much-loved rapper Badshah, the soulful Shreya Ghoshal, and the acclaimed composer/ performer Vishal Dadlani. Together, they are on the lookout for India’s next singing sensations.

Among  many standout contestants is Bhubaneswar’s Ipsit Pati, a travel vlogger and a devout follower of Lord Shiva. Ipsit embarked on a spiritual and adventurous journey from Bhubaneswar to Trimbakeshwar, and then onward to Mumbai for his audition. During a heartfelt conversation before his performance, Ipsit bonded with Vishal Dadlani over their shared passion for biking. Vishal fondly recalled his early biking days, while Ipsit revealed that his vlog, documenting his spiritual journey remains incomplete, awaiting a final chapter.

Ipsit’s singing prowess stunned the judges as he performed a soulful rendition of ‘Kaise Hua’ from the movie ‘Kabir Singh.’ His performance captivated the room, leaving the judges in awe of his emotive voice.

Badshah was especially impressed and said, “When you sang, it felt like it was your own song. You made it completely yours. This happens to be one of my favourite songs, and you delivered it perfectly.” He playfully added, "Kehne ko hai biker, lekin hai ‘Suron ka Striker.’"

Shreya Ghoshal also expressed her admiration, admitting, “I thought you were more of an adventurer, with music as a side passion. But your voice is your true identity. You connected with the song so deeply, and that emotion came through in every note. You are not the voice of any hero, your voice is the real hero.”

Vishal Dadlani paid him the biggest compliment, saying, “I used to be a biker too, and now I’m thinking, after this, you won’t be doing bike tours but singing tours instead! Your voice cuts through with such power, and you truly made Kaise Hua your own. I guess my dream of a bike trip with you will have to wait until after Indian Idol.”
