Bittu 3rd time victorious; Defeats Bains by thumping margin of 76,606 votes

Expresses thanks to Ludhiana voters and others Ludhiana, May 23, 2019: Congress candidate from Ludhiana Lok Sabha Seat MP Ravneet Singh Bittu registered 3rd consecutive victory today by defeating his nearest rival Simarjit Singh Bains by a big margin of 76,606 votes. Bittu secured 382831 votes, runners up PDA candidate Simranjit Singh Bains got 306225 votes and second runners up SAD-BJP candidate Maheshinder Singh Grewal got 298672 votes The last time runners up AAP candidate secured only 15760 votes. Last time during 2014 election, Bittu defeated Aam Aadmi Party Candidate Harvinder Singh Phoolka with margin of about 19,000 votes. On his victory, Bittu extended his thanks to the voters of Ludhiana Lok Sabh constituency for their kind affection, love and support for ensuring this big victory. He also thanked party leaders, supporters and all Congress workers, who worked hard day and night during campaigning and polling. Bittu also extended his gratitude to the media, Civil Administration , Police Administration for extending full cooperation during the the whole electioneering. After grand victory Bittu's supporters celebrated the victory by dancing on the beat of drums and shouted slogans on victory. Sweets were also distributed.
