Bittu sounds poll bugle in Ludhiana, massive road show crisscrossing the entire city, open for any debate on the development of the constituency

Ludhiana, April 6, 2019: “I will continue to serve the people of Ludhiana parliamentary constituency, I am all for the people of this constituency”, this was stated today by emotionally touched Ravneet Singh Bittu, when his road show entered the constituency. Bittu, while touching down the city after officially his name was cleared by the Congress high command, organized a massive road show, which crisscrossed the city today. Bittu said the love, affection and respect, which he has got from the people of this constituency, is unmatched and will reciprocate to them back. “Today I am appealing emotionally to the people of this constituency to again repose their faith in me by electing me their Member of Parliament second time consecutively. I have also nurtured this constituency like my home and will continue to do the service of the people.” He said he left no stone unturned in the development of the constituency inspite of many adverse political situations. Education, Health, Environment, law and order, road network, congestion and traffic, etc are his key priorities on which he worked for the last five years. Today he did not want to politicize anything but want to appeal to the people to think themselves and decide for the better future of the constituency. Bittu while asking the political opponents to come for an open debate on the issue of development of the constituency said that today politicians should not indulge in mudslinging at each other rather work in a positive manner for the betterment of the people of the constituency. Just for the sake of elections we should not use bad language to demean the stature of each other instead we should debate on issues of development. Bittu after being declared the official candidate from Ludhiana parliamentary constituency held massive road show which entered the city via Kohara, then Jamalpur, Vardhman Mill, Samrala chowk, Dhaan singh chowk, Chaura Bazaar, Ghanta ghar, Congress bhawan, Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib Gurudwara, Durga Mata Mandir and Ferozpur road. The entire party leadership participated in the roadshow, which got over enthusiastic response from the people of the constituency also. Bittu alongwith local congress leaders paid obeisance at Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib Gurudwara and Durga Mata Mandir also. On the way from Chandigarh, Bittu alongwith all the family members also paid tributes at Shaheed Beant Singh Memorial in sector 42 and took the blessings of the Late grandfather. Others who accompanied Bittu for the roadshow included Tej Parkash Singh, former minister, Bharat Bhushan Ashu Cabinet Minister Punjab, Rakesh Pandey, Surinder Dawar, Sanjay Talwar, Kuldeep Vaid all MLAs, Balkar Singh Sandhu, Mayor Ludhiana, Ashwani Sharma President DCC Ludhiana (Urban), Karan Soni Galib President DCC Rural and all the leaders from the frontal organizations (Mahila Congress, Youth congress, NSUI, Sewa Dal of the local district congress committee.
