BJP Punjab chief condoled death of pilgrims in Manikaran landslide

Chandigarh, August 18, 2015: Punjab BJP chief, Sh.Kamal Sharma today expressed deep condolences over the tragedy in Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh where many persons lost their lives due to landslides.
In a statement issued from party headquarters, Sh. Sharma said that the Punjab Government has immediately stepped in to find out whereabouts of the pilgrims belonging to the state and entire government stands with the families who lost their kin in the tragedy.
“Both Punjab and Himachal government have started working jointly to provide relief  to the calamity hit pilgrims,” said Sharma. He prayed for the peace to the departed souls.
State BJP chief has also condoled the death of President Sh Pranab Mukherjee's wife Ms Surva Mukherjee who passed away today.
Expressing his profound grief over the death, Sh.Sharma also conveyed his condolences to the President over the death of Ms. Mukherjee, who was a noble soul.He prayered for peace to the departed soul.
