BJP Punjab on toes for making its grounds among masses for LS elections in 2019

Chandigarh/Ludhiana, April 21, 2019: BJP Punjab has started actively working for making its grounds among the masses for upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019.

An indication to this effect was witnessed in the party's state-level meeting held in the party office in Chandigarh today. The meeting was presided over by the party's state president Shwait Malik, MP. Malik was taking the first meeting of the party's state office-bearers after taking over as the BJP state president.

A detailed discussion was held with regard to the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections next year. The state president asked all the state office-bearers to give their opinion for ensuring the party victory on all the thirteen parliamentary seats on which the party was supposted to field its candidates.

All the office-bearers apprised the state president of their views for ensuring the party victory in the coming elections to the Parliament. They also expressed their views regarding the present political and social situation across Punjab.

Addressing the party's state office-bearers, Malik said the ruling Congress party was exploiting people of Punjab and doing injustice to them. He made an appeal to the party leaders to come out of their offices and homes and provide a cover to Punjabis who were struggling on the roads against the misrule of the Congress-led government in the state. He asked the party leaders to protect Punjabis struggling for their cause.

Malik asked the partymen to took to the masses the work being done by Modi Government for overall development and progress of the country.

It was decided unanimously in the meeting that on every second and fourth Sunday of the month, the meeting of the state office-bearers will be held in which the state presidents of `morchas' of the party will also be there. It was also decided that the meeting of District Officer-bearers will be held every Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm, in which the presence of district presidents and general secretaries of the `morchas' will be mandatory.

While distributing the organisation work, Malik decided to allocate 11 districts each to every general secretary being the regional in-charge. Similarly, every state office-bearer will be appointed in-charge of two districts, while every executive member will be appointed in-charge of the three mandals.
