BJP will prepare its manifesto with participation of public: Arun Sood

Chandigarh, November 16, 2021: The Bharatiya Janata Party will prepare its Vision Document or Sankalp Patra in the municipal elections with the participation of the general public. On the same basis a roadmap will be prepared for the next 5 years. The above information was given by BJP State President Arun Sood in a press conference held at BJP State Office Kamalam on Tuesday. State spokesperson Kailash Chand Jain, State spokesperson and Sankalp Patra Committee convener Dharinder Tayal, media committee members Amit Mahajan, Amandeep Singh, and Arun Deep Singh were present along with Sood. Sood said that BJP's central leadership, MPs, Mayor and all local councilors have worked to take Chandigarh forward on the path of development and good governance. This development journey has been possible only because of the continuous support of the people of Chandigarh.
To continue this campaign of democracy and development, BJP wants to reach out to the people of Chandigarh and ensure their participation in this process. Our vision is to make Chandigarh not only the number 1 city of the country but also a world class city in the next 5 years. To create a roadmap for this, the biggest public participation campaign of Chandigarh, “Aapka Chandigarh, Aapka Sujha” campaign will be started by the State BJP.
Under this campaign, all the people of Chandigarh will be invited and encouraged to share their suggestions/aspirations with the BJP. Based on all these suggestions and aspirations, BJP will prepare a vision document (Sankalp Patra) for the 2021 municipal elections.
Under this campaign, suggestion boxes will be kept at prominent places in each locality in which public can submit their suggestions by writing, people will also be able to give their suggestions through recording by giving a missed call. Suggestions can also be submitted by visiting the website. Apart from this, BJP workers will hold discussions with different groups of Chandigarh and collect their suggestions.
Sood challenged  Congress and AAP
During the press conference, State President Arun Sood challenged the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that in the last municipal elections, the BJP had won 20 seats. But this time out of 35 wards, BJP will wave the flag of victory in all. Sood said that the disintegration in the Aam Aadmi Party has already been visible. Their leaders have started going back to Congress. There is no organization and no face. Sood said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the B team of Congress. At the same time, he also challenged the Congress and said that they have no existence in the city. Last time also the people of the city had given us an absolute majority and expressed that Congress has no existence in the city anymore.
Even 10 votes will not make a difference by saying Tikait.
Responding to a question, Arun Sood said that even 10 votes would not make a difference to him by Rakesh Tikait. Tikait had recently given a statement not to vote for BJP in the municipal elections. Sood said that this statement of Tikait will not affect the people of Chandigarh. Rather on the contrary, wherever Rakesh Tikait or so-called farmer leaders have given a statement against BJP, there has been an increase in BJP's votes, the latest example of this was seen in the Ellenabad by-election of Haryana, where Rakesh Tikait and farmer leaders have made a statement. BJP count have increased by 15000 votes.
