BKU (Mann) extends full support to Congress Candidates

Talwandi Sabo, August 16, 2014: Bharti Kisan Union led by Bhupinder Singh Mann, Ex MP and National President of BKU today expressed full support to the Congress Candidates in the Bye Elections. He made this announcement while canvassing for Harminder Singh Jassi Candidate from Talwandi Sabo at Village Jagga Ram Tirath. He was accompanied by Manpreet Singh Badal PPP supremo, Harminder Singh Gill, Gagandeep Singh Barnala, Joginder Singh Mann, Gurbachan Singh Bajwa General Secretary BKU, Surjit Singh Kadgil Vice President BKU, Sukhmandir Singh Lekhewal President BKU Bathinda.
He said that the SAD Government has proved to be the worst example of Governance in Modern day when all democratic systems have been totally shattered and there is complete anarchy in the state. The farmers are the worst sufferers in this system and have to resort to suicide to escape the clutches of tyrant rulers. He recalled that during the earlier Congress regime, farmers for not harassed in Mandis. Now the farmers are facing tremendous hardships in Mandis. He also deplored the minuscule increase in MSP of Paddy this season while during the ten years of UPA Government Paddy price was increased by almost 700 rs per quintal.
Mann said that he has directed the entire cadre of BKU of Bathinda , Mansa and BKU Haryana for the bordering villages to whole heartedly support the congress candidates.
