A blood donation camp was organised at University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University today.

Chandigarh, November 9, 2023: A blood donation camp was organised at University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University today.
The camp was powered by the team of doctors and staff of GMSH 16 Hospital and in collaboration with Shree Shiv Kanwar Mahasangh Charitable. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Sarabjit Kaur, Director, UILS, Panjab University and Dr Rajinder Kaur, Dean, Faculty of Laws. A total of 97 donors were recorded. Students of Panjab University and Faculty Staff were among the blood donors including Dr Purshottam and Dr Gurpreet, Faculty of UILS.
The theme of the camp was “Donate Blood this Diwali, and light up someone’s life”.
It was a great success. Director Ma’am encouraged the donors to regularly donate blood after 3 months.
The donors were awarded with certificates and awards. Dr Simerjit Gill, BTO, Incharge, Blood Bank, GMSH 16 was also present.
A vote of Thanks was delivered by Department Representatives of UILS: Gavneet Singh, Pratham Singh Chahal, Simarpreet Singh, Paramjit Singh. The event was headed by Shaurya Gupta and Tej Partap Singh Gill.
