Blood Donation Camp organised by Red Ribbon Clubs in SBS Technical Campus

Ferozepur, March 25, 2016: Blood Donation Camp was organized jointly by Red Ribbon Clubs of Engineering and Polytechnic Wings of SBS State Technical Campus in association with Youth Services Department, Ferozepur. This Camp was organised under the patronage of Dr A K Tyagi, Associate Director Engineering Wing and S Jagjit Singh Chahal, Assistant Director Youth Services Department, Ferozepur.
The inauguration of this camp was done was by Dr A K Tyagi, Associate Director Engineering Wing. He inspired youth to donate blood for sake of society. Blood Bank team of Civil Hospital Ferozepur participated in the Camp for collection of Blood.
48 units of blood was collected during this Camp, in which students of Engineering and Polytechnic Wing of this State Technical Campus donated their blood. All the Blood Donors were provided with mementos and refreshment (Milk, Juice, Banana, etc).
To organise this Blood Donation Camp successfully Nodal Officer of Red Ribbon Club of Engineering Wing Mr Gurpreet Singh; Mr Rahul Chopra (Nodal Officer Red Ribbon Club Poly Wing); Madam Navdeep Kaur and S. Manjeet Singh Bajwa remained present throughout the organisation of this blood donation Camp. The Group Leaders students of NSS Samriti Sharma, Navneet Kumar, Nachattar Singh, Anmol Preet Kaur, Deepak Kumar, Balram Kumar, Animesh Kumar, Shiwani, played key role.
Dr T S Sidhu Campus Director, appreciated the efforts of Red Ribbon Clubs of Campus and promised more such social activities will be organised in future for welfare of society. He also congratulated Sh. Gurpreet Singh; Prof Gazal Preet Arneja, Principal Polytechnic Wing; Nodal Officers of Red Ribbon Clubs; Staff of Health Centre staff; Blood Bank Team; S Manjeet Singh Bajwa; Sh. Rajinder Kumar; S. Balwinder Singh Mohi; Sh. Harpinder Pal Sagar and all the donor students for successful organisation of this Blood Donation Camp.
In the end, Sh. Gurpreet Singh, Coordinator of this Camp thanked all the Blood Donors.
