Chandigarh, November 28, 2022: A Blood Donation Camp was organized in Moti Ram Arya Sr. Sec. Model School, Chandigarh as its annual feature to commemorate and to pay homage to the great visionary Late Hardayal Mahajan -founder of MRA School, Chandigarh & Panchkula. It was organized in collaboration with the P.G.I Blood Transfusion Society
The Camp was inaugurated by Sarabjit Kaur (Mayor, MC Chandigarh).
There was an overwhelming response for the noble cause. Parents and old students of the school donated blood very enthusiastically. The Old Students Association – MROSA & HDFC Bank Central also came forward for the purpose.
As many as 104 units of blood were collected.
Rachna Mahajan, Director, Principal Dr. Seema Biji, Headmistress Ramandeep Kaur and Admin. Officer cum Educational Advisor M.L Sondhi and all the members of the staff were present.
Besides this, free medical/ health check-ups were also conducted and nearby people got advantage of this camp.
