IT Quiz Conducted by Tata Consultancy Services and BITES, Tested Students’ Knowledge in Emerging Technologies

Bengaluru: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, and the Board for IT Education Standards (BITES) an autonomous body promoted by Government of Karnataka, announced the winners of 12th edition of TCS TechBytes.

Winner: Adarsh Vatsa – BMS Institute of Technology & Management, Bengaluru
Runner-up: Mohammed Meraj Alam – Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru

Dr Karisiddappa - Vice Chancellor, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi who was the chief guest on the occasion urged students to make the most of such platforms to enhance their overall technical knowledge. Dr K.N. Balasubramanya Murthy – Chairman BITES and VC Dayananda Sagar University, commended the performance of the students. Mr. Sunil Deshpande, Operations Head – TCS Bangalore, presented the Winner with  a TCS education scholarship of Rs 75,000/- and the Runner-up Rs 40,000/-.
 
Over one hundred colleges across Karnataka participated in TCS TechBytes 2021 program. This year, the quiz was held as a combination of online tests and virtual quiz shows, providing students with an engaging digital experience. Students from six regions – Hubballi, Kalaburagi, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Bengaluru and Tumkuru participated in the program. The winners from each region participated in the virtual State finals on 26th March.
