Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan meets Himachal CM

Dharamshala, December 1, 2019: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the natural grandeur of Himachal Pradesh is attracting filmmakers and the state is receiving various proposals for setting up the film city.
He was interacting with media after meeting noted actor Amitabh Bachchan in Manali today.
The Chief Minister said that the state government would provide all possible assistance in facilitating the film industry in the state. He said, “There are beautiful and ideal locations in the state for film shooting, which needs to be promoted at large scale.”
While interacting with the Chief Minister, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Himachal have beautiful landscapes and people here are very peace loving.”
The Chief Minister honoured actors Amitabh Bachchan and Ranvir Kapoor with Himachali cap, shawl and mementoes. Both the Bollywood actors are in Himachal Pradesh for the past few days in connection with the shooting of a film.
