Bombs found near Cong panchayat poll candidate's house in Bengal
Claimed that the Trinamool Congress had planted explosives
Kolkata, June 25 (HS): On Sunday, a bag containing live explosives was discovered in a village in West Bengal's Murshidabad. Bombs were stored near the home of a Congress candidate running in the panchayat elections. Locals from the area discovered the bag while out for a stroll on Sunday morning and alerted the police. The cops hurried to the scene and summoned the bomb disposal team to deal with the live explosives. Meanwhile, the Congress candidate claimed that the Trinamool Congress had planted explosives near his home.
When asked about the explosives, he stated he was being pushed to withdraw his panchayat nomination. However, when he declined, Trinamool Congress operatives allegedly stored the explosives near his home.
