A Book fair was organized at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town. In this book fair which lasted for three consecutive days, the children and their parents also came. They also showed great interest in books and bought their favourite books.

Jalandhar: A Book fair was organized at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town. In this book fair which lasted for three consecutive days, the children and their parents also came. They also showed great interest in books and bought their favourite books.
The objective of organizing this book fair was to develop the interest of the children in books. In this book fair, various types of books like magazines, dictionaries, stories of Panchatantra-Hitopadesha, fables, encyclopedias, autobiographies, Science related books, general knowledge, painting books, books based on the sports world, cartoons, games etc. -There were books like Learn Maths in Sports etc. Children bought books as per their interest.
On this occasion, Shally Bowry (Executive Director Schools) said that nowadays children's interest in social media has increased so much that they have forgotten books, they don't have the habit of reading books; Whereas books are not only our true friends but also the right source of guidance which remove the darkness of ignorance and light the light of knowledge. Therefore, for the intellectual and mental development of children, they must read books. This will not only increase their knowledge but will also improve their reading skills.
