Booster for Congress in Haryana- Two-term MP and Senior OBC leader Kailasho Saini left BJP, joined Congress.
Two-term MP from Kurukshetra and senior OBC leader of Haryana, Kailasho Saini left BJP and joined Congress on Sunday. She took membership of the Congress, expressing faith in the leadership of former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Congress State President Udaibhan.
Rohtak, May 12, 2024: Two-term MP from Kurukshetra and senior OBC leader of Haryana, Kailasho Saini left BJP and joined Congress on Sunday. She took membership of the Congress, expressing faith in the leadership of former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Congress State President Udaibhan.
Hundreds of her workers also joined Congress, along with Kailasho Saini. In addition to this, Ajit Singh Kadian, former MLA from Beri, also left BJP and joined Congress. Ex CM Hooda welcomed everyone into the party and assured full respect.
Hooda said the entry of another big leader from the backward class into the Congress will definitely strengthen the party. “This will send a big message to entire Haryana including Kurukshetra,” he said.
Talking to media persons, Kailasho Saini said that BJP is an anti-democratic party and wants to change the Constitution. “BJP is moving ahead on the policy of taking away the right of reservation from SC and OBC. In such a situation, there was no justification for remaining within this party, hence I decided to leave the party,” she said.
She said she will strongly campaign for the INDIA Alliance in Kurukshetra and the rest of Haryana wherever the party gives her the responsibility. “Congress's victory is certain in this Lok Sabha and upcoming assembly elections,” she added.
Today, along with Kailasho Saini, Nirmal Saini (former Chairman, Market Committee Kurukshetra), Somnath, Tanmay Wadhwa, Chetanya Bansal, Sachin Saini, Varsem Saini, Deep Saini, Fauji Saini, Sandeep Kumar, Rajesh, Suresh Saini, Barkha Ram, Jasmer, Man Singh, (All former Sarpanchs), Ashok Kaserla (former block committee member), Raghubir Singh, Raj Tohana, Dr. Mahindra, Balwinder Singh, Aman Kamboj, Master Baisakhi Ram, Jarnail Singh, Subhash Chand, Sunil Dhull and many other senior leaders and workers also joined Congress.
