Boy killed in mysterious explosion in Bihar
Cause of the explosion has yet to be determined
Bhagalpur, June 25 (HS): An explosion at a residence in the Babarganj region of Bihar's Bhagalpur district killed a 17-year-old boy and injured three others, police said on Saturday. According to them, the event occurred inside the jurisdiction of the Babarganj police station. Police stated they got information about a cylinder explosion, but the cause of the explosion has yet to be determined.
"In the evening, we received information of a cylinder blow. Teams from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and the fire department are on the scene. The cause of the explosion is being studied. Debris removal is underway," stated Anand Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Bhagalpur. More details are awaited.
