Chandigarh, July 1, 2022: Boys Hostel No. 2, Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with NSS organised a plantation Drive. Planting trees is one of the most effective ways to make the environment a greener, more vibrant, and healthier place.
Dr. Tilak Raj, Warden, Boys Hostel inspired the students not only to plant trees but also to take care of these trees.
Dr. Anuj Kumar, NSS, Programme officer, Dr. Shankar Seghal, NSS, Programme officer, Dr. Vivek Kumar, NSS, Programme officer were present on this occasion.
About 15 saplings of different varieties (Bougainvillea, hibiscus, Kaner, etc.) planted by the warden, Programme Officers, staff, residents and NSS volunteers at Boys Hostel No. 2 premises.
