B Pharmacy Vs B. Sc Nursing Vs BPT: Eligibility Criteria
Let’s check the eligibility to pursue B Pharm course first:
● Candidates who have successfully passed Class 12 from any board are eligible for admission.
● They should have a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (and in some colleges 50%) with a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
● Applicants must be above the age of 17 years. The upper age limit in some institutes has been specified to be 31 years.
● Candidates who have completed a diploma course in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) from a recognised institution will be considered to be eligible too. This will give them lateral admission into the second or third semester of their B.Pharmacy course.
● There is no requirement of prior work experience for admission into B.Pharmacy course.
● Students who completed non-formal schooling or open schooling under NIOS or any such board are not eligible.
B.Sc Nursing Eligibility
● Candidates who have successfully passed Class 12 from any board can apply.
● They should have at least 45% marks in aggregate with subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
● The minimum age for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course is 17 years, and the maximum age limit has been specified to be 35 years.
● Candidates who have completed their Class 12 successfully and then completed a diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised institution will be considered to be eligible as well.
● Admission to B. Sc Nursing degree course does not require any previous job experience. This criterion, however, may vary for different institutes.
● Students who completed non-formal schooling or open schooling under NIOS or any such board are not eligible.
BPT Eligibility
● Students with a science background in Class 12 are eligible.
● They should have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate marks in their main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
● The minimum age limit for admission is 17 years.
● Previous job experience is not required for admission.
