Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sudesh expressed thanks to Prime Minister Narender Modi, Union Education Minister Dharamendra Pradhan and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal for this significant grant. VC Prof. Sudesh said that PM Narendra Modi will digitally launch the projects associated with this grant. The launch will be held via video conferencing on 20th Feb 2024 at 11 AM in the conference hall adjacent to the Vice Chancellor's office.
VC Prof Sudesh told that the Union Ministry of Education has approved Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) in continuation of erstwhile RUSA scheme, for funding the state government universities and colleges to help them achieve the aims of equity, access and excellence. Prof Sudesh said that this grant of Rs 20 crore under PM-USHA will play a significant role in strengthening the research and academic growth of women university.
