BPSMV pays tribute to Lala Lajpat Rai and Field Marshal KM Cariappa
Humble tributes were paid to the great freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai and the first Indian Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal KM Cariappa on their birth anniversary at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan today.

Sonepat, January 28, 2024: Humble tributes were paid to the great freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai and the first Indian Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal KM Cariappa on their birth anniversary at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan today.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudesh paid floral tributes to the portraits of these two great personalities and saluted them. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudesh said that Lala Lajpat Rai's contribution to the country's independence movement was unique and he awakened the spirit of independence in the entire India. He gave new energy to the national movements and the nation will always be grateful to him. Lalaji also made Arya Samaj popular in Punjab.
VC Prof. Sudesh recalled the dedicated and committed service of Field Marshal Cariappa and described him as a true patriot. She said that Field Marshal Cariappa was instrumental in preventing many foreign invasions.
