Chandigarh, August 20, 2013: Zonal Chief of Brahma Kumari Ashram, Chandigarh Didi Achal today tied “Rakhi” to Shivraj V. Patil, the Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh at Punjab Raj Bhavan.

Extending good wishes, Patil described Brahma Kumari Ashram a spiritual organization committed to self transformation through meditation and positive thinking. On this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Governor expressed the sincere hope that this festival shall usher a new era of sustained peace, amity, harmony, progress and prosperity.

Brahma Kumari Didi Achal also tied Rakhis to Governor Principal Secretary, M.P. Singh, ADC to Governor, Rajbachan Sandhu and Major Vivek Anand and Joint Director Press to Governor Punjab, Naginder Singh.

B.K. Amir Chand, Zonal Director, North Zone Brahma Kumari Ashram who was also present on the occasion, invited Patil to grace the 77th annual function of Brahma Kumaris going to be held at Mount Abu from October 3 to 7, 2013.
