Bringing Punjab’s Heritage to Bollywood - Initiative Shines a Spotlight on Cultural Authenticity

Ludhiana, November 12, 2024: An inspiring endeavor to spotlight Punjab's rich culture, heritage & natural locations within the Bollywood industry, Pooja Batra an eminent Bollywood actress and former Miss India International was presented the traditional Heritage pictorial art work, stole adorned with alphabets illustrating Punjabi pictorial brochures showcasing the significant heritage sites as well as natural sites aiming to wider the horizon of Bollywood travellers towards the lesser known mesmerizing natural locations by Punjab based Author, Nature Artist & Heritage Promoter Harpreet Sandhu having deep-rooted passion for preserving and sharing Punjab’s unique cultural heritage tourism locations, within Bollywood artists, allowing them to experience the landscape, architecture, folk art, and festivals that define our State, enabling them to feel the pulse of Punjab.

Ace Bollywood actress Pooja Batra and Actor Boman Irani were much impressed with the heritage pictorial art work showcasing Punjab’s heritage locations 200 year old Monument Bassian Kothi, Noormahal Saran, Shaheed – E Azam Bhagat Singh Museum Khatkar Kalan, Bathinda Fort, Pul Moran etc. and described that such fantastic heritage spots can be a platform for Bollywood film makers to gain cultural representation in their upcoming films and applauded Harpreet Sandhu’s efforts by highlighting Punjab’s culture and the value of the authentic locations that can bridge Bollywood with Punjab’s heritage, making it a commendable contribution to both the entertainment industry and Punjab’s cultural legacy. Boman Irani, the most illustrious Bollywood film actor and writer much acknowledged the Punjab Tourism 200 year old heritage site Bassian Kothi situated in District Ludhiana and said that he will visit this significant heritage site in the near future.
