BSF recovered two kg of heroin on Indo-Pak border
Border Security Force (BSF) personnel recovered two kilograms of heroin at Rawla along the India-Pakistan International Border in Rajasthan's Bikaner sector. Its price in the international market has been estimated at around Rs 10 crore.
Bikaner, 24 June (HS): Border Security Force (BSF) personnel recovered two kilograms of heroin at Rawla along the India-Pakistan International Border in Rajasthan's Bikaner sector. Its price in the international market has been estimated at around Rs 10 crore.
According to BSF sources, on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday, the jawans stationed here heard the sound of a drone coming from Pakistan. With immediate effect, the jawans started searching the area by firing in the direction of the drone. During this, heroin was recovered in two packets.
Efforts by Pakistan to smuggle heroin into the Indian border through drones are continuing. On June 20 also, BSF jawans had recovered two kg of heroin from Gharsana near the international border.
