BSF RECOVERS SOPHISTICATED PISTOL, MAGAZINE AND HEROIN DROPPED BY PAKISTANI DRONE ON FEROZEPUR BORDER
Ferozepur, January 13, 2025: In yet another seizure, the BSF sleuths recovered firearms and contraband dropped by Pakistani drone along the Indo-Pakistan border in this sector. BSF officials said that acting on inputs provided by the intelligence wing regarding the presence of a suspicious item near the border, the BSF launched a search operation during which it recovered two packets from agriculture fields near Tendiwala village along the zero line during which a packet containing Glock pistol with a magazine besides 548 grams heroin wrapped in yellow adhesive tape was seized. The consignment was attached to an iron hook which indicated that it was a case of drone dropping.
BSF officials said the recoveries underscored its unwavering commitment to combating cross-border smuggling operations.
