Budding Poets of Innokids of Innocent Hearts spellbound the audience

Jalandhar, December 15, 2023: An English poetry recitation activity was conducted under the theme ‘Budding Poets' for the learners and explorers of Innokids of the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Nurpur and Kapurthala Road).
The aim was to remove stage fear of the students, to enhance their self-expression and pronunciation skills. They recited rhymes on various topics like My School, Trees, Toys, School Bus, Rainbow, Two Little Hands, Teddy Bear, Finger Family etc. using various props. The children's confidence in the poetry presentation was applaudable.
On this occasion, Sharmila Nakra (Deputy Director - Cultural Affairs) lauded the children and said that it is not easy to come on stage and express one's views through poetry. It is the self-confidence of the little children that inspires them to recite poetry in a very natural manner.
