Budget 2021 is unique and progressive: Ramesh Mittal - Chairman Lovely Group
Says, the imposition of agricultural cess on petrol is a far-sighted idea
Jalandhar: Lovely Group Chairman Mr. Ramesh Mittal believes that considering the present times the budget- 2021 is very commendable as it is progressive and aims to accelerate the country's economic growth momentum. Various sectors, whether being health, defence, agriculture, research, development, or any other, have been carefully touched. To deal with the epidemics like Corona, this time there is good budget in the health sector and it has been almost doubled including that of the last year. The imposition of agricultural cess on petrol is a far-sighted idea that will not affect the prices of petrol as it has been said that the excise duty will be reduced. Overall, it is a budget presented in favour of a very “Atam Nirbhar” India, and “Make in India”, which every Indian will surely appreciate.
This budget is quite unique as it has been presented amidst many challenges. The Finance Minister has also extended the tax holiday for startups by one year, giving upstarts a much needed boost in the post-epidemic period. Even there are many startups of students in our university LPU itself, who are surely bound to get very excited with such an announcement.
