BUSINESS ICON AWARDS HELD

Panchkula, April 7, 2019: Vini Mahajan, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce , Punjab and Harish Nayar, Special Secretary (Finance), Chandigarh (UT) , gave away 27 awards to business leaders at the 1st Edition of Business Icon Awards 2019 which was held at Welcom Hotel Bella Vista, Sec 5, Panchkula. Mr.Praveen Kansal, Chairman, Royal Estate Group, Mr.Neeraj Kansal, MD, Royal Estate Group , Mr.H C Goyal owner of Jia Diamonds, Ramesh Aggarwal , President, Industry Association Panchkula, Mr.Rakesh Garg, General Secretary, Industry Association Panchkula were present along-with many dignitaries. BIA 2019 was a celebration of achievement by businessmen and women who have established their businesses in different segments of tricity's economy. BIA 2019's objective was to identify and honour business talent in areas where generally work goes un-recognised. The awards were given for business enterprise in areas like agri produce marketing & distribution, trading in various daily use products, service sector, retail business etc. The parameters which governed the awards were aspects like the work done to make the business a success, contribution to growth of economy like employment generation, passion towards business, start up ideas , first generation business entrepreneurship etc.
