'Business Plan Competition' held at Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus at Jalandhar on Monday organising a competition  called 'Business Plan Competition'.

Jalandhar, March 10, 2014: The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus organied a competition  called 'Business Plan Competition' for all the students of the institution in order to motivate and inculcate in students the skills and competecies must for an entrepreneur. The participating teams were judged on the basis of the originality of business plan, setting of objectives,  feasibilty of executing it and confidence and conviction in students to give it a shot.  A total of 5 teams comprising 4 students each participated in the competition. All the teams came forward with remarkable, practically viable and innovative business plans.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus encouraged the students saying: “Good management requires setting specific objectives and then tracking and following up. In order to be a good entrepreneur one has to be strategic, develop a plan; and not just wing it.”

The first position in the competition was bagged by the team headed by Rashi Mittal. Awalpreet Singh and his team got the second position in the competition. The winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 3100.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus congratulated the prize winners and all the participants for putting up a great show and also appreciated them for their remarkable participation zeal.
