Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) at E3 2022 generates business queries worth Rs 5000 Cr
IEEMA recently concluded its flagship event to energise the East, E3 2022 in Kolkata scheduled on June 30-July 1, 2022.
Kolkata July 5, 2022: IEEMA recently concluded its flagship event to energise the East, E3 2022 in Kolkata scheduled on June 30-July 1, 2022. The event brought together Electrical Industry, Technocrats, Government, Utilities, Non-utility segments like Oil Refineries, Cement, Railways, Port, Steel etc on the same platform.
E3 was a pure business focused event and initial estimate indicates that Rs 5000 cr worth business enquiries was generated during the two days.
Siddharth Bhutoria, Chairman, E3 stated, “There were 82 buyers from 33 companies and 800 prescheduled meetings were conducted. We expect business enquiries figure to be larger these are only initial estimates.”
Vipul Ray, President, IEEMA commented, “There was a need emerging within the industry to connect with other major buyer segments such as large industries, Railways, Smart cities etc with whom enhanced engagement is desired. With this thought process the 3rd edition of E3 - Energise Empower East was conceived. The presence of non-utility segment was a huge hit and the electrical industry echoed on conducting more such meetings in near future.”
E3 is organised by Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA), which is the apex industry association of manufacturers of electrical, industrial electronics and allied equipment with 900-plus member organisations.
IEEMA members contribute to more than 95 per cent of the power equipment installed in India and represent a turnover of over 50 billion dollars.
