Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh inaugurates development projects in Khanna constituency
Khanna (Ludhiana), November 28, 2021: In yet another endeavour to complete the developmental projects, Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh today inaugurated various ventures in his constituency.
The minister commenced his day’s activities with the inauguration of the road project from Jatana village to Peer Sthan. The length of this road would be 1 kilometer which will be built with an estimated amount of Rs 26 lac. Once complete, the road will provide the villages in the vicinity a better connectivity. The village Sarpanch Shinbder Kaur along with ex -Sarpanch Baljeet Singh along with various others were also present on the occasion.
Another project that was given the green signal by the Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh was the construction of a peripheral wall of a pond in Bija village.
With an aim to give better infrastructure to the villages in Khanna constituency the cabinet minister launched another scheme of installing interlocking tiles in the streets of Mehendipur village.
Sarpanch of Mehendipur Baljit Kaur, panch Angrez Singh were also present on the occasion .
The people who have played an important role in get this project rolling include Chairman Block Samiti Khanna Satnam Singh Soni, president Block Congress Khanna Beant Singh Jassi, Member Zila Parishad Harbans Kaur.
Addressing the people on this occasion, Gurkirat Singh said that his aim is to serve the people and safeguard their best interests. “I am always available for people, to look into the problems and give the possible solutions,” added Gurkirat Singh.
