Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian inaugurated development projects worth Rs 70 lakh at three government schools in Sahnewal constituency under the Punjab Sikhya Kranti campaign. The projects include new smart classrooms and boundary walls at Government Senior Secondary School in Sahibana and Government Primary Schools in Buddewal and Lakho Gadowal villages.

Ludhiana, April 15, 2025: Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian inaugurated development projects worth Rs 70 lakh at three government schools in Sahnewal constituency under the Punjab Sikhya Kranti campaign. The projects include new smart classrooms and boundary walls at Government Senior Secondary School in Sahibana and Government Primary Schools in Buddewal and Lakho Gadowal villages.

Addressing the gathering, Mundian highlighted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's commitment to revolutionizing education by providing state-of-the-art infrastructure.

"Under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership, we are transforming government schools across Punjab to match the standards of elite convent schools, equipping them with ultra-modern facilities like smart classrooms, advanced computer and science labs, and well-designed playgrounds," he stated. 

Mundian emphasized that the AAP-led government has ushered in a new era for education, increasing its budget by 12% for the first time in Punjab’s history. He noted innovative initiatives, including training principals and headmasters in Singapore, Finland, and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to enhance teaching quality. "Our students are the future, and we are dedicated to providing them with every possible opportunity," he added. He also highlighted free educational tours for government school students to various parts of India, fostering their all-round development. 

Mundian assured that there would be plenty of funds for school development and infrastructure upgrades, highlighting the government’s commitment to education.
