Cabinet Minister Mundian lays foundation stone for special repair of link road from GT Road to Khasi Kalan
Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian laid the foundation stone for the special repair of a vital link road connecting GT Road to Khasi Kalan via Tajpur and Dhanansu in Ludhiana on Wednesday. This 3.85-kilometer stretch will be built with an estimated project cost of Rs. 3.31 crore and will enhance connectivity and improving road infrastructure.

Ludhiana, April 9: Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian laid the foundation stone for the special repair of a vital link road connecting GT Road to Khasi Kalan via Tajpur and Dhanansu in Ludhiana on Wednesday. This 3.85-kilometer stretch will be built with an estimated project cost of Rs. 3.31 crore and will enhance connectivity and improving road infrastructure.
Speaking at the event, Minister Mundian highlighted the importance of this route for daily commuters traveling to various parts of the district and emphasized that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to provide high-quality road infrastructure throughout Punjab.
"Giving top priority to quality roads, AAP government is making continuous and sincere efforts to elevate Punjab’s road infrastructure," Mundian stated. He pointed out that the state has been proactive in identifying and upgrading critical routes to meet modern standards, ensuring durability and convenience for all road users.
For the residents living along Tajpur Road, this project marks the fulfilment of a long-standing demand. "With this initiative, the people in the surrounding areas will finally breathe a sigh of relief, as their issues have been addressed and acted upon," he added.
