Khanna, (Ludhiana), April 26,2025: Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond on Saturday visited the local Civil Hospital to review the ongoing works.
While inspecting the projects, Sond stated that all operations at the Civil Hospital, Khanna, are running smoothly. He noted that interior painting work is in progress, while exterior work is nearly complete. During the visit, he also met the patients who underwent surgeries there and took feedback about the services.
Sond emphasized that health and education revolutions are underway in Punjab since 2022 when AAP formed the government. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the people are being provided with all kinds of facilities in government hospitals. He added that the Punjab government is the first in the state’s history to issue cards under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme, ensuring free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh for all citizens, a historic decision by the state government.
Present on the occasion included Senior Medical Officer Dr. Maninder Singh Bhasin, Market Committee Khanna Chairman Jagtar Singh Gill Rattanheri and others.
