Students of Cambridge International School for Girls, Jalandhar take out 'Punjabi Jagriti March'.

Jalandhar, February 23, 2015: The students and teachers of Cambridge International School for Girls participated in 'Punjabi Jagriti March' on Saturday, with the aim to promote the Punjabi language and to create an awareness amongst the people about their mother tongue, with great enthusiasm and passion.

The students and teachers with their banners and placards reiterated the need to save the cultural heritage and the rich history of the language. The Punjabi Department emphasised the importance of motivating the youth to carry forward the rich legacy that has been passed to them by using the Punjabi language in daily life.

This was a sincere effort by the school and the Punjabi Department to encourage the use of The Punjabi Language, which was supported and appreciated by all.
